Software Engineer — Enzy

B2B SaaS sales performance platform · Lehi, UT · May 2025 – Aug 2026

  • Deliver full-stack features on an Angular/Java Spring Boot platform serving 200+ business customers and thousands of daily active users in door-to-door sales organizations, including Aptive and Sun Power.
  • Own weekly releases and led team standup for two months as one of three engineers trusted with release ownership — coordinating QA, cutting release branches, writing release notes, and shipping to production.
  • Diagnosed and resolved a sustained production CPU incident affecting a major customer's cluster by tracing latency to an unbounded query pulling 4.3M rows per request; partnered with the infrastructure lead to ship a fix that restored service.
  • Architected and shipped a greenfield campaign builder integrating Twilio (SMS) and SendGrid (email) — owning data model, Java/Spring Boot backend, and Angular UI — to replace a manual outreach process, delivered alongside a junior engineer.
  • Built a full-stack sales funnel modeling tool atop existing leaderboard queries, defining funnel data models in SQL and enabling customers to configure custom funnels and rep-level goals; rolling out to all 200+ customers.
  • Integrated an internal AI-generated incentive service front to back (rep competition brackets and prize configuration), including a feedback loop returning user-edit signal to the AI team.
  • Designed a Redis-backed leaderboard caching strategy to eliminate redundant database row scans across tens of thousands of daily views while preserving real-time accuracy.
  • Mentor an intern through code review and architecture discussions; collaborate cross-functionally with PMs, designers, and the AI team.

Software Engineer — Sprout-Kids

Furniture manufacturing · Provo, UT · Jan 2023 – May 2025

  • Built and maintained the full suite of internal web applications (Python/Django, jQuery) that the 50-person company relied on daily — production halted company-wide when the platform was down.
  • Designed and shipped a production scheduling tool handling ~100 orders/day for team leads, plus a floor-facing tool that sequenced work for production teams and tracked part-level defects with automated rework requests.
  • Built a bill-of-materials traceability tool mapping 50+ core products (thousands of SKU variants) to every component part and valid manufacturing path; also shipped an employee self-service portal used by all 50 employees for pay and PTO.
  • Owned features end to end across Django models, views, and templates on a two-person engineering team; collaborated directly with the CEO and manufacturing stakeholders, and served on a weekly cross-functional technical council resolving production floor issues through software.
